What To Do On a Rainy Day

Rainy days are the best, especially when it’s on the weekend. For me rainy days are an excuse to stay in and have a lazy day.

I love waking up on a Saturday or a Sunday morning and look out the window just to find it’s raining. I normally use the weekends to tidy up my bedroom but when it’s raining it means lazy day.

I stay in my PJs all day and normally stay in bed watching movies, reading a book or binge watching a tv show.

Taking a good hot bath and pampering yourself can also be a good way to spend a rainy afternoon. Self-care is important and what better time then a rainy day to do that. I really like to take a good bath, put on clean PJs, and slip into a freshly made bed. Is there a better feeling than that?

Sometimes, when I’m feeling inspired, I grab my laptop or a notebook and lay in bed writing. Or, if I’m feeling really lazy, I sit by the window and just watch the rain drops tapping at the glass and falling down the street.

Anyway, a rainy day is always an excuse to stay in and do nothing productive or do everything you have been putting off.

These are a few things I do to pass the time when it’s raining outside, and I don’t have to leave my house. What do you do on a rainy day?
